With the Mavericks winning their first championship, a lot of people are trying to figure out how to define Dirk Nowitzki's resume. Yes, he's scored enough for 13 years, been an All-Star and carried his team to a title this year, but where does he rank? Is he a Top 20 player of All-Time? I would quickly say 'no'. You could probably pick the Lakers, the Knicks and the Celtics and get most of the Top 20 of All-Time. but when you break it down to his position, PF, is he in the top 10 or 20 of that list? This is the conundrum that we find ourselves in right now and we're having a decent debate today about that. In order to start the debate, let's first take a look at a list of the Top 10 Power Forwards to ever play in the NBA.
1. Tim Duncan
2. Karl Malone
3. Charles Barkley
4. Kevin McHale
5. Bob Pettit
6. Kevin Garnett
7. Elvin Hayes
8. Dave DeBusschere
9. Dirk Nowitzki
10. Buck Williams
That's my list. Where should Dirk be? Who should be on the list (Rodman?) and who shouldn't be (Buck Williams?). Let us hear it.
I am an avid sports fan, here to talk about sports and anything else that I feel I need to expound on. Just my thoughts on paper, or a reasonable facsimile. Enjoy!!!

Barkley Benched
TNT has done something a lot of teams weren't able to do, bench Charles Barkley. Charles Barkley was pulled over in for suspicion of drunk driving in the suburb of Gilbert, Arizona. He failed a sobriety test and was booked. In light of this and the fact that his blood test came back saying he was two times over the limit for Arizona. So until this whole matter is finished, Barkley has hired a lawyer to represent him, Barkley will be off of TNT. This is TNT's loss. Barkley, Kenny, and EJ are probably the best basketball announcing team out there. Looking for you back on TV Charles, be safe.

Being Charles Barkley
Searching the net today I found a funny post about Sir Charles Barkley. I have long been a Barkley fan and have a basketball game that resembles his, although not at the pro level. Charles has made us laugh for years and always has something crazy to say during the NBA season when you watch him and Kenny (Smith) on TNT. Take a look at this link and see if you laugh as much as I did.
