Stephon Marbury will clear waivers today and is expected, by some Celtics insiders, to be in uniform tonight for the Celtics. I have gone back and forth with this deal and finally I am on the side of this being a good thing. Stephon has got to realize that this is his last opportunity to show that he can conform and be a teammate, a good teammate that can play within a team and not for Marbury/Starbury. The Celtics have been hit by injuries to Garnett, Tony Allen, and others and could use a spark off the bench. KG and the rest of the big three won't let this guy get out of hand. I'm sure that this will work out. If it doesn't, the deal he'll get is probably not a long term one.
Is this is a good deal for the Celtics? For Marbury? Is this going to help the Celtics win a title this year?
