NFL 2010 Week 16 Wrap Up

This sucks!!!!

Pittsburgh @ Carolina - The Steelers made light work of the Panthers as we all thought.  Looking good heading into the playoffs, just need Polamalu back to really be a threat.  Inquisitive Mind 1 - 0 for the week.

Arizona @ Dallas - Yes, I missed picking this game, but isn't this the Cowboys season wrapped into one game?  Inquisitive Mind 1 - 0 - 1 for the week

New England @ Buffalo - This is how you dominate a team just to let everyone know that you are serious about the playoffs.  Does Tom Brady play next week?  Inquisitive Mind 2 - 0 - 1 for the week

New York Jets @ Chicago - The Bears surprised me and won this game with Cutler playing well.  I still think he's going to betray this team at some point.  Sadly, it's looking like that may be the Superbowl.  Inquisitive Mind 2 - 1 - 1 for the week

Baltimore @ Cleveland - It took the Ravens a little longer than they thought and probably a little more effort, but they got the win.  Why can't the Ravens pass the ball?  Are they saving offense for the playoffs?  Inquisitive Mind 3 - 1 - 1 for the week.

Tennessee @ Kansas City - Was that a Cassel-Bowe-Charles showing or what?  This team is definitely ready for the playoffs.  I hope they don't do like the other Chiefs teams that have had great home records and lost in the first round of the playoffs, at home.  Inquisitive Mind 4 - 1 - 1 for the week.

San Francisco @ St. Louis - Well, it's finally over.  The 49ers season and Singletary's coaching gig.  This team has/had so much talent and I know all they really need is a quarterback.  Who's going to be new head coach?  This is actually not a bad gig to have.  The Rams play the Seahawks next week for the playoff invitation.  Exciting.  Inquisitive Mind 5 - 1 - 1 for the week.

Detroit @ Miami - Great effort for the Lions, things are definitely looking up in Detroit.  Inquisitive Mind 6 - 1 - 1 for the week..

Washington @ Jacksonville - The Redskins snuck out a win, lots of mistakes by the Jaguars and now they are on the outside looking in for the playoffs.  Just a few weeks ago, their season looked great.  The magic finally wore off.  Inquisitive Mind 6 - 2 - 1 for the week.

Indianapolis @ Oakland - The AFC should be scared as it seems that Peyton Manning has found his mojo again.  The Raiders were thisclose.  Inquisitive Mind 6 - 3 - 1 for the week.

Houston @ Denver - Well that pretty much sums it up.  Both teams in the state of Texas really played terribly this year and didn't live up to expectations.  They lost to Tim Tebow.  Inquisitive Mind 6 - 4 - 1 for the week.

San Diego @ Cincinatti - The Bengals finally played a pretty decent game this year and it's only about 6 weeks too late.  Inquisitive Mind 6 - 5 - 1 for the week.

New York Giants @ Green Bay - How do you get beat this bad when you need/want to prove you can win after the butt whuppin you took last week?  Inquisitive Mind 6 - 6 - 1 for the week.

Seattle @ Tampa Bay - The Bucs won the game they needed to win.  Let's see what happens next week.  Inquisitive Mind 7 - 6 - 1 for the week.

Minnesota @ Philadelphia - This is what happens when you underestimate your opponent and then don't even show up.  Sad.  Inquisitive Mind 7 - 7 - 1 for the week.

New Orleans @ Atlanta - Good game, but Matty Ice wasn't able to bring them back this time.  I still like the Falcons  in the NFC.  Inquisitive Mind 7 - 8 - 1 for the week.

Whew, I'm glad that week is over.  I think I need to concentrate on the day job a little more.  This handicapping sucks.  That puts me at 141 - 97 - 1 for the season.  Only a perfect week keeps me close next week.
