It's Friday

So, nothing really going on worth writing about. Brett Favre finally has a team and it's not the Tampa Bay Bucs (which I had reported), Team USA is 5-0 and waiting to destroy China (along with Kobe Bryant's new teammate Sun Yue - 2 year deal with Lakers), Jason Williams is now a former Heat guard (signed with the Clips for 1 year), the Bears have shown that they still need to go out and get a QB (although the guy I've been picking, Orton, has played decently), Baltimore finally beats NE (I know they wish they would have done that last year when they had them on the ropes), Detroit beat the Giants (more evidence that pre-season football is worthless), the Saints killed the Cardinals, the PGA Championship is up for grabs without Tiger (I have odds on Phil not stepping up and winning this one), and finally the Olympics start tonight (well actually the opening ceremony is tonight even though some games have already been played). So with that I might be signing off for the weekend while we all take in more NFL pre-season football, the race for the pennant (MLB), PGA Championship, and any more NBA news.
