Sad Display of Humanity

As we all know, last weekend in the NFL was a bad week to be a quarterback. The biggest name QB that was lost was Tom Brady. The hit has been questioned by many as being dirty and by others as being clean. At the end of the day it was just awkward and unfortunate for not only Brady and the Patriots, but the NFL also. Take a look at the hit itself. Bernard Pollard was on the ground and was trying to make a play and just happened to hit Brady on the knee at an inopportune time.

With this all happening, some brilliant person (and I hope you can feel the sarcasm) actually is selling these shirts.

Talk about bad taste (and the same might be said about me for even publicizing this actual shirt). Who buys a shirt like this? I mean you are celebrating a guy getting hurt. I surely hope that Bernard Pollard has been shown the site where the shirts are available and has sent them an email or something protesting the sale of these. When do we as a people start celebrating peoples tragedies? I could understand a poster at a game about a guy getting caught with some illicit drugs, or caught with a woman who isn't his wife, or even someone that cheated on the game, but this really shows what we as humans have become. Somewhere I hope that the person who created this is getting exactly what they deserve. Sad.
